Fees for sovereign activities

The IPI shall charge fees for:

a.

granting and maintaining intellectual property rights;

b.

keeping and publishing registers;

c.

granting authorisations to and supervising collective rights management organisations;

d.

legally required publications; and

e.

further enforcement measures in accordance with the legislation on intellectual property.14

The IPI’s fee regulations are subject to approval by the Federal Council.
