(Art. 39 SAA)

In accordance with Article 39 paragraph 1 letter b SAA, consular protection may be provided to the following persons in particular:
a.
citizens of countries with which Switzerland has concluded a relevant agreement;
b.
recognised refugees;
c.
persons recognised as stateless.

The consular protection services may also be provided to the relatives of the person concerned, particularly if the person in question is missing or dead.
