Referendum and commencement

This Act is subject to an optional referendum.

The Federal Council shall determine the commencement date.

It shall bring the following provisions into force at the same time as the HEdA84:

a.

Article 4 letter c number 2;

b.

Article 7 paragraph 1 letter b;

c.

Article 46 paragraph 2.

Articles 5 letter b numbers 2 and 3, 6 paragraph 1 letters b and c and 24 paragraph 2 of the Research and Innovation Promotion Act of 7 October 198385 shall be repealed at the same time as the HEdA comes into force.

Commencement date: 1 January 201486
Article 4 letter c number 2, 7 paragraph 1 letter b and 46 paragraph 2 come into force at the same time as the HEdA87 (Art. 58 par. 3).
