With Innosuisse, the Confederation seeks to promote science-based innovation in the interests of the economy and society.

In order to achieve this objective, Innosuisse shall adhere to the principles and mandates set out in Article 6 of the Federal Act of 14 December 20123 on the Promotion of Research and Innovation (RIPA) and shall perform the duties set out in Article 3 of this Act.
