Market risk is the risk of sustaining losses on on- and off-balance sheet exposures as a result of market price fluctuations, especially in the case of:
interest rates, including credit spread (interest rate risk);
shares (share price risk);
currencies (currency risk);
gold (gold price risk);
commodities, including precious metals except gold, and electricity (commodity risk).
