Parliamentary procedural requests are:
motions;
postulates;
interpellations;
questions.
They shall normally be addressed to the Federal Council.
If they relate to the organisation or procedures of the Federal Assembly, they shall normally be addressed to the office of the council to which they are submitted.
They shall be addressed to the federal courts if they relate to the conduct of business or financial budget of the federal courts; motions are excluded.
They shall be addressed to the Supervisory Authority for the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland if they relate to the management or budget of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland or its Supervisory Authority; motions are excluded.124
They shall be addressed to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) if they relate to the FDPIC’s management or budget; motions are excluded.125
In the case of procedural requests made to the offices of the councils and to the federal courts, Articles 120–125 apply by analogy.126
