Exceptions

The requirements set out in Articles 48a–48c do not apply if:

a.

a geographical indication was registered under Article 16 AgricA61 prior to the entry into force of this provision; or

b.

a manufacturer is able to prove that the indications of source used correspond to the relevant public.
