The general provisions of the Federal Act of 22 March 197491 on Administrative Criminal Law (Art. 2–13) apply.

Offences within the meaning of Article 55 shall be prosecuted and judged by the Central Office in accordance with the Federal Act of 22 March 1974 on Administrative Criminal Law. The Assay Offices are obliged to report to the Central Office any administrative offences that come to their attention. The sworn assayers and trade assayers are subject to the same obligation.
