The Central Office is affiliated to the Federal Department of Finance52 for the implementation of this Act. It may be incorporated into an existing administrative unit within the Department.

The Federal Council shall regulate the organisation of the Central Office.

  1. 52 Name in accordance with Art. 1 of the unpublished FCD of 23 April 1980 on the adaptation of federal law enactments to the new names of the Departments and Offices. This amendment has been made throughout the text.
